Title :Software Quality Engineer
Duties:
Analyze highly complex business requirements, designing and writing technical specifications to design or develop ETL processes. Develop reusable processes and platform independent code to load data intraday, real-time and batch. Develop Test Strategies and test plans. Responsible for automating ETL and data integrations leveraging SQL, views, data extractions and ensure accuracy through testing and auditing of data. Develop coding guidelines, application design code and reusable ETL Data testing frameworks utilizing a thorough understanding of ETL Framework, Python, Unix, SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Azure and Snowflake. Analyze and Report the test results for every build Release . Provide sign-off for Continuous Delivery cycles in QA, Pre-Production and Production Environments. Perform detailed analysis of the business requirements to determine architectural requirements, capacity assessment, performance, deployment risks and impacts. Interpret the transformation rules for all target data objects and developing the software components to support the transformation. Develop UNIX shell scheduler scripts to automate the batch, intra-day and real-time processes. Responsible for ETL processes and tools as well as database loading and manipulation. Work on the project and communicating with Business Analysts, and Dev team. Provide Metrics to measure progress and accuracy of data transfers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Required five (5) years of experience in job offered, QA Engineer, Senior QA Engineer, Software Consultant, or related. Must have five (5) years of experience using ETL Framework, Python, Unix, Hadoop and Snowflake. Required travel/relocation throughout the United States.
